Classes start next week, so I thought I would share my back to school pinterest board. I'm really looking forward to our welcome week concert with K'naan tomorrow night! And for the fall college festivities in general. I definitely have a good feeling about this year :)

BRIGHTER THAN SUNSHINE

Yesterday I did some shopping with one of my roommates. First we went to Marshalls where I picked up some Kenneth Cole sandals, a chain printed top and a denim shirt. I also bought some new running shorts from Dick's (since my sister stole all of mine at home). But I think I spent the most money at the grocery store where I probably embarrassed my roommate by eating every free sample in sight. We ended our day by going to the gym and watching the season finale of Suits. So good to be back at college!

LACE AND CHECKERED

I'm going to be posting a few pictures I took last week while I'm still trying to get things in order before school starts. Yesterday was a crazy day of errands. I went to visit my new chiropractor in Charlottesville, went apartment decorating shopping, and volunteered at the international students welcome dinner. It was great to talk with people from such different backgrounds and see how their schooling experience differed from mine. Also, the food was delicious (and meant I didn't have to cook for myself!).

I spent all yesterday moving back into my apartment so now that I finally have some free time, I wanted to share my experience at 2941's restaurant week dinner. As you can see, I'm a huge fan of cutout dresses - I just can't get enough! As for the restaurant though, 2941 was such a gorgeous place! In front there are these lovely small waterfalls and a koi pond. For dinner I ordered Drunken Watermelon, Grilled Pork Loin, and Chocolate Napoleon. The portions were small, but the food was delicious and packed a lot of flavor. It was the perfect amount of food and everything was prepared beautifully.
