Sorry for the long hiatus! I visited New York City last weekend and had a fantastic time. It was such a refreshing break from the relatively quiet summer I've been having at home. It was a pretty typical touristy weekend: we shopped on 5th Avenue, watched some of the Olympics, crashed a wedding, ate a lot of food, spent too much money, visited Times Square and even went to see Madeon on a whim. My favorite part though, was getting to hang out with some old friends I haven't seen since high school.
